Privacy policy

Updated 28/10/2026

1. Controller

Renlo, info@renlo.fi

2. What data we process

Contact details (name, email, phone, company), order and delivery details, the 3D models and attachments you send us, and the content of your messages.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Technical data such as IP addresses is used briefly to protect the service against abuse and is not stored permanently.

The server that hosts the site keeps request statistics to operate it and keep it secure: the time, the requested path without query parameters, the response status and size, and the network the connection comes from, cut to its network part (IPv4 /24, IPv6 /48). Individual lines are kept for about 6 hours and aggregated counts for 90 days.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Delivering orders and customer service (performance of a contract), answering enquiries and quote requests (legitimate interest), and accounting and other statutory obligations (legal obligation).

4. Retention

Order and accounting data is kept as required by the Finnish Accounting Act. 3D models and attachments are deleted within 12 months of the order or enquiry unless you ask us to keep them for repeat orders. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months.

5. Recipients and transfers

We use carefully selected service providers: Stripe (payments), Posti and Matkahuolto (deliveries), and our hosting and email providers. Stripe may transfer data outside the EU/EEA using the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser (local storage). Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
